Okay, so today i wanted to play a game but when i put the disk in, the game wasn’t going on. I restarted the system and tried again, but it didn’t work. I tried other disk’s and it STILL wasn’t reading any of the disks. So i went online and wanted to get help from Sony but they charge 120$!! So where is the place i can get my Sony PS3 fixed with this problem?

1.) I recently purchased a PS3, 40GB. when I turn it on the power indicator beeps turns green, then blue indicator comes on briefly. The System makes a clicking sound. Power indicator turns yellow for a quick second. Then after, 3 quick beeps the power indicator continues to flash red until you press the power button again…

2.) Game inserted will not eject.

I need some repair advice

I was playing my PS3 earlier and the game froze and would not un freeze the PS3 was extremely unresponsive but I managed to get the disc out. The PS3 will now accept discs but will not read or play any, not games or DVDs or anything am I going to have to send it away for repair?

Ps3 Fixer YLOD No More

well recently my ps3 YLOD’d and i was searchiing ways that i could try and fix it my self instead of paying 150 for sony to do it……i dont have a warranty any more on it since ive had it for almost 3 years

the question i have is will i still be able to send in the ps3 and have it repaired for $150 if i break the warranty seal and try to fix it my self, or will they not repair any ps3 that has broken the warranty seal

i have one of the original 60gb ps3’s and i payed $600 for it i dont realy want to dumb another $150 in if i dont have too
thanks for your imput but i want all the data and stuff i got on that ps3, i also didnt write down my psn name and i forgot it, plus my damn CoD4 is stuck and i want to get that game out….i realy just need to know if i can still send it in after i try and fix it my self

Please help me. Today I bought Madden 09 Collector’s Edition at Gamestop. I am having trouble loading it. I put in the disc and nothing comes up. NFL Head Coach works perfectly and so do every other game i have for my Playstation 3. I just dont know whether to return the game, have my PS3 repaired or something else. Every time my game is loading it seems my Playstation 3 makes a chick chick chick scratching noise. Its has done that ever since the first day I took it out of the box and turned it on. Should I call Sony to have it repaired? What is wrong with it?

My son’ PS3 locks up. There is a game in the machine and as soon as it is turned on the light stays yellow and it freezes. Is this a hard drive error? If so can I buy a new drive, format the drive and ghost his friends PS3 drive onto this one? Or is the machine toast and needs to be sent to sony?

It does not load the game, and is running hot. I am trying to avoid sending it in for repair for 150.00 It just ran out of the warrenty

Well, I just bought a refurbished 40 gig ps3 because my old Ps3 got the yellow light of death. I tried to repair the old Ps3 and discovered that there’s a ribbon connecting the blu-ray drive to the internal organs of the Ps3. I have an old blu-ray drive for the Ps3 that has a copy of Midnight Club: Los Angeles stuck in it. Can I open the new Ps3 and connect the blu-ray drive to the ribbon and get the game out, or is there another way to get it out?

I’m getting my XBOX repaired and it’s been having a lot of problems (i mean A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) 1. it would scratch my discs and i wouldn’t move my console 2. It wouldn’t even let me play XBOX games!
So Microsoft is repairing my system, after it’s repaired it’ll be with a 1 year warranty. So if this one breaks i may be able to return it and get 0 back from them. I would spend that on a Playstation 3 but My cousin said Playstation 3 isn’t as good as Xbox 360 (he owns a PS3) i was confused because 1. PS3 has Blue Ray 2. I don’t need a 100 foot Ethernet cable to play online 3. Playstation 3 is free online play!
PLEASE HELP! IF I DO GET 0 back should i get a XBOX 360 or a new Playstation 3? i need to know by November 11 because that’ when this game i want is coming out and i want it like on the first or 2nd day. THANKS!!!!
