I’m from Canada and I will send my PS3 for repair. I have a 60GB PlayStation which I found out to be the defective one that has been released October to December of 2006.

I received a free shipping box (Which I think it’s not free due to the fact that I will pay 9 CAD) Anyways, my only concern is how should I pay?

I want to pay using credit card, but by them saying that I must attach it by giving my Credit Card Number and Expiration date which is relatively insecure, then I’m having second thoughts.

Is it safe?

PS3 problem. please help.?

I have a 40 gb ps3 and has been in twice for service. It was in because first it wasn’t reading any games what so ever there was no icon where the game is. Then later it was in because it was freezing during game play. I have this problem again for a third time. I called Sony told them my situation and the guy told me to do a file restore which I did. The guy told that they will replace the whole unit even thought my warrant was out but I have to call back if it freezes. It did freeze again But when I phoned back I did have a problem with the Support worker but I am still getting it replaced. What I am wondering from the google searches i have done are that the replacement Ps3’s are refurbished ones? Are they? Am I likely to have a problem again? Also what would be better, to get it service or to get a replacement? I do not want a problem again and I believe that my Ps3 has something wrong with the whole unit. I’m just wondering from other peoples experiences with there PS3’s and repair places like Sony or MTC. I will be dealing with MTC as I am in Canada.
Also I don’t play alot just when I need something to pass time. And it can’t be from giving it space it has a lot of ventilation space and it cann’t be from a update has I haven’t updated it to the new update that is out.
Also to add I do care of my personal items that cost me money. I have down in my basement where it is nice and cool for it. I DO NOT carry it around. Never has it been dropped or even picked up. It is in PERFECT condition like my laptop, Ipod, ps2, radio, etc. Everything of mine is in perfect condition.

I recently dropped my PS3 and now it constantly buzzes and has lines on the screen whenever it’s turned on. Can anyone please help me? I need a repair shop around Canada in the Vancouver area.

Ps3 Repair Help, How do I get my box?

My Ps3 broke and I want to get my box to put my Ps3 in it so i can send it back to Sony but I don’t know how to contact them so they can send me a box.

PS3 repair help!???????

I called Sony, and said I lost my receipt, and they gave me a number which is 1800-883-8895.

They asked me for my name, and phone number, and the serial code. I gave them the information and they said they will send my reciept to Sony by 3 days.

So how will I know when Sony recieves my reciept, and after that should I send my PS3 in, after 3 days?

And I live in Canada, so should I call UPS? And do I tell them to send my PS3 to sony? What information would they want though?

Help!!
