looking for co-op games on PS3?

im going to send my PS3 for repair tomorrow after it has been spoiled for nearly 3 months. planning to purchase a couple of games while at the store.
any new co-op games i should buy to play with my bro? you know like rainbow six, army of two kinda stuff. if possible able to play a mission together without having to go online. haven’t been following new game release for a while now
already have resident evil 5. MV 2 it is then.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 came out on tuesday
MW2 has special ops mode where you do a little achievment campaign in two player (clear area of terrorists, get to safe house that sort of thing).
Modern Warfare 2 is the bomb. Unfortunately there is an issue with servers currently where you can’t get online but fix is due tomorrow. You can play split screen co-op though
Resident Evil 5 is the best I’ve experienced.

Resident evil 5 has a nice co-op as does resistance 1, where two people can do the main storyline, split screen (not the second one, that is only online).
You could try LBP – which is not really co-operative game-play, but if you are both creative, you could co-operatively create a nice level to play together.
I would say Brutal legend.If you’re a big fan of Jack Black you should get it cuz its funny,awesome and lets not forget it has co-op mode.Trust me It’s good.Or you can tryout Uncharted 2:Among the thieves
