How much for a broken Playstation 3 60GB?

Powers supply’s probably dead, I’m not sure, and I’m hoping to get some money off it to get the Ps3 Slim. Don’t want to try repairing it myself or sending it to Sony since I don’t know 100% what the problem is.
hmmmm…still not sure what to do, if i send it to sony, is it guaranteed to be fixed? And selling it for 0-500 doesn’t seem so bad.

You can Post Your PS3 on Ebay There a Thousands of People who want an as is PS3 Because either they know how to fix it and or they know where to get it fixed.
Also Put an ad on Craigslist someone will buy it from you
Oh Yeah If it can Play PS2 games you can make between $400 – $500 alone just because it is a rare backwards compatible system.
sell it on ebay and or craigslist you will get your monies worth
it really depends on the person who wants to buy it
the 60gb system is the best so i would keep it. sony will fix it regardless of whats wrong for 150 dollars.
send it to sony?? sony will send somone round and take it and leave you with a refurbished ps3 while yours is being fixed, iv had 3 ps3’s replaced this way before.. if you havent registered yet do it now an say its less than a year old .. they normally come around within a few days
If you can’t identify the problem, you’ll be lucky to get even $100 for it.
But Sony will fix it for you for a flat rate of $150. That’s a much better deal than trading it for a ps3 slim. The slim is stripped way down though its Cell is improved.
